Options & Investment in Care

Seeking therapy is a meaningful investment in your emotional health, relationships, and overall well-being. Our goal is to keep fees transparent so you can make informed decisions about your care.

EMDR Counseling Collective is a collaborative network of independently practicing clinicians. Each therapist maintains their own clinical practice and establishes their own fees, insurance participation, and payment policies. Because of this, rates and payment options may vary by clinician and service.

Intake & Assessment — $180–$240

Your first appointment gives you and your therapist time to understand what brings you to therapy, your history, current concerns, treatment goals, and what approach may be the best fit.

Intake and assessment appointments range from $150–$240, depending on the clinician and type of assessment.

Your specific intake fee will be provided before your appointment is scheduled.

Some specialized services, including EMDR Intensives and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy™, may require additional assessment, preparation, or coordination.

Individual Therapy — $150–$195

Individual therapy sessions typically range from $150–$195 for 60 minutes, depending on the clinician.

Session Length & Structure

Therapy sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes.  The final 10 minutes of each session are reserved for clinical documentation, formulation, and treatment planning, in alignment with professional and ethical standards of care.

Clients can expect approximately 50 minutes of direct therapeutic time per standard session.

Extended 90- and 120-minute sessions may be available when clinically appropriate, particularly for EMDR and trauma-focused work. Rates vary by clinician and session length.

Group Therapy — Varies by Program

Our small therapy groups provide opportunities for connection, skill-building, reflection, and support with others navigating similar experiences.

Fees vary depending on the group, length, format, and facilitator. Current pricing and registration information are listed on each group's page.

Psychoeducational & Skills-Based Groups

(6–8 participants, 60–120 minutes)

$60 per person, per hour.

These groups focus on nervous system regulation, trauma education, coping skills, and relational growth. These groups are educational and skills-focused. They are not trauma-processing groups.

Psychotherapy Process Groups

(6–8 participants, 60–120 minutes)

$60-85 per person, per hour.

Process groups offer the depth of therapy with the added benefit of shared experience and real-time relational insight.  Change often happens more efficiently because you’re not only talking about relational patterns — you’re practicing new ones in a safe, guided environment.

Group EMDR (Including GTEP)

(6–8 participants, 120 minutes)

$240 per participant (2-Hour Session)

This group utilizes the Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (GTEP), a structured EMDR-based approach designed to help process recent or cumulative traumatic experiences within a contained and professionally guided format.

Because trauma processing requires safety, pacing, and clinical containment, participation includes a brief screening to ensure appropriateness. Group size is intentionally limited to support depth and regulation.

This is not a general support group. It is structured trauma processing.
